Exchange Programs

Capital University has exchange programs with several foreign universities, including:

  • Mälardalen University in Västerås, Sweden (nursing)*
  • The University of Essex in Colchester, England (nursing)*

Can’t spare much time but still want the study-abroad experience? Every year, Capital faculty members lead students on short overseas programs related to their areas of study. Offerings change from year to year. To learn what short programs are available this year, contact the academic department(s) you’re interested in.
You may also apply for direct enrollment at a foreign institution or for other selected programs. Contact the Study Abroad Department for more information.

  • Meets the academic and cultural objectives you outlined in your Overseas Study Goal Statement Worksheet
  • Offers enough support at the program site to handle any problems that arise
  • Has a strong safety record
  • Meets accreditation standards so you know you’re earning university-level credit
